Program update centre
The right pathway depends on program eligibility, not only a score.
Express Entry
Manages the Canadian Experience Class, Federal Skilled Worker Program and Federal Skilled Trades Program. IRCC may hold general, program-specific or category-based rounds and does not promise a fixed draw schedule.
Provincial Nominee Programs
An eligible Express Entry candidate who accepts a provincial nomination receives 600 additional CRS points. Each province and territory controls its own streams, criteria and intake.
AAIP update
Alberta reported a 2026 nomination allocation of 6,403. Its June 2 priority-sector draw invited 49 manufacturing candidates with a minimum provincial EOI score of 53. AAIP EOI scores are not federal CRS scores.
Rural & Francophone pilots
The Rural Community Immigration Pilot and Francophone Community Immigration Pilot are employer- and community-led permanent-residence pathways. They do not publish Express Entry CRS cut-offs; applicants must follow the participating community’s job-offer and recommendation process.
CRS outlook
Recent CEC cut-offs have clustered around 516–518, while PNP rounds are higher because nominations add 600 CRS points. Category-based cut-offs vary widely by occupation or language category. Future scores and dates cannot be guaranteed.
